About the Speaker:


Jeff Hall is the Security Systems and Fraud Manager at USE Credit Union. He is currently responsible for the prevention, detection and investigation of deposit fraud and ID theft cases for the credit union. His duties have recently expanded to also include the implementation and administration of critical cyber security controls for the organization’s network.

Jeff has worked in the financial services field since 1994 when he started at Chase Card Services in Tempe, AZ. Jeff spent 12 years with Chase with multiple positions in the fraud department beginning as a fraud prevention analyst rising up to fraud management positions with responsibility for the detection and prevention of counterfeit and account takeover cases. Jeff accepted a position with an auto finance company in San Diego in 2006 as a fraud analyst and joined the credit union world in 2011 with a fraud investigators position at SDCCU.

Jeff holds a B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University. He is a certified fraud investigator (CFI) and is a member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI), California Financial Crimes Investigator Association (CFCIA), San Diego Regional Fraud Task Force, and the San Diego Electronic Crimes Task Force.
