Notes from Vice President
I hope those who attended last month’s event enjoyed our guest speaker Devin Huhes and his “Presentation Skills for Introverts”. I was unable to attend as I was out of town but we will be posting Devin’s slide show out on the AFWA’s Website and I’m definitely going to review.
I heard we had a terrific turn out from both AFWA and our partnering group WIFS. We would love to have WIFS members and guest attend any or all of our upcoming events.
A great big shout out and thank you to Grace Staten for arranging the speaker and WIFS to partner with us on this event. Thank you Alvarado Skin Care Institute and all of those who donated to help raise money for our Scholarship Fund.
We have some wonderful upcoming events:
Nov 15th – Roger Garay, MVA, EA “Ethics” being held at Rockin Baja Lobster located in Mira Mesa
Dec 6th – Annual Holiday Shopping Social held at Elijah’s located in Clairmont Mesa. We have some of your favorite vendors returning from last year plus a few new ones. Get ready for some great holiday shopping!
Jan 17th – Allison Soares now COO & Partner at Vanst Law “Tax Updates” held at Humphrey’s Grill located in La Jolla
