Judy Thompson, President of Thompson Search, has been interviewing and recruiting financial professionals, for over 35 years in San Diego County. Her companies include Thompson Financial Search, specialists in recruiting senior accounting and financial professionals, and Thompson Interim, which places interim financial and accounting professionals. She and her firm are particularly known for their excellent in “business matchmaking” leading to successful and long lasting placements for their client companies and candidates.

Judy sits on the boards of Corporate Directors’ Forum, and the School of Accountancy for San Diego State University. She is a past president of both Corporate Finance Council and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). She is a past board member of Torrey Pines Bank.

Judy has been recognized as Most Admired CEO by the San Diego Business Journal and was a recipient of their Women Who Mean Business award. She has spoken for many organizations in San Diego over the past 35 years. She holds an AA in Math from Colby Sawyer College and a BS in Psychology from SDSU.
